TSP through the Looking Glass Known Bugs

Before sending a bug report to TSP through the Looking Glass tech support, please look at the list of known TSP through the Looking Glass bugs below.

WORKAROUND

When you try to run TSP through the Looking Glass, it quits immediately and shows the error message "Unexpected error; quitting".

This is the result of incompatibilities between TSP through the Looking Glass and certain OCX's and DLL's that are installed by new editions of various Microsoft products including Office 97 and Visual Tools 97 (including Visual Basic 5.0, Visual C++ 5.0, etc.) There is now a version of TSP through the Looking Glass available that is compatible, so if you have encountered this bug, please look at our TSP through the Looking Glass 97 download page.

When you do a find of the word "memory" in the output window of ILLUS43.OUT, it selects some spaces and the numeral three.

This extremely mysterious problem is apparently an undocumented bug in Microsoft's RTF Control. There is no workaround other than to not search for the word "memory".

Page range fields in Print dialog are not enabled.

Select what you want to print in the input or output window as a means of printing only part of your input or output file.

Outdent function doesn't select text right.

Doesn't affect workflow, more a cosmetic issue.

Function and cursor keys stop working in input window.

This is a bug in Microsoft's RTF control. Clicking around a few times with the mouse will make the keyboard work again.
