How to install TSP 5.0 under Vista or Windows 7 on a 64 bit computer

These instructions apply to installing TSP 5.0/Givewin2 under Microsoft Vista or Windows 7 on a 64 bit computer. Note that TSP 5.1 has an integrated installer that works on 64 bit computers. For earlier versions, the following workaround will do the trick:

1. Install GiveWin on your 64-bit computer (this installer works fine)

2. Install TSP and TSP/GiveWin (first and third installers) on a different PC, one that does not use the 64 bit operating system.

3. Copy the TSP 5.0 folder from the other PC to your Vista64 PC.

4. Final steps to complete the installation:

From the [Start] button on the desktop, choose Run and type

the following in the text box and press Enter:

\program files\tsp 5.0\tsp5gw2 /regserver

The software installation should now be complete. You can run TSP by clicking on the GiveWin2 icon on the desktop, and then

opening or creating a .TSP file.
