Student TSP

Student TSP is available for Macs and PCs. It includes all the TSP commands, but can only handle a limited amount of data.

DATA RESTRICTIONS

Student TSP is limited to 16,000 numbers in a regression. For example:

• 16 variables x 1000 observations
• 16 variables x 20 years x 50 states

Memory intensive commands such as LSQ, SUR, 3SLS, and GMM will only be possible with very small datasets and numbers of equations.

The Demo version contains even smaller memory limits, and expires within 30 days. However it can be downloaded for free, and is suitable for evaluating TSP on small models.

• Student TSP with GiveWin Requires Windows 95, 98 or NT, Pentium or 486, does high resolution graphics in multiple windows, includes bundled visual interface utilities, GiveWin and TSP through the Looking Glass. On CD-ROM or 3.5" disks.
• Student TSP without GiveWin Requires Windows 95, 98 or NT, Pentium or 486, does high resolution graphics (to full screen), includes bundled visual interface utility, TSP through the Looking Glass. On CD-ROM or 3.5" disks.
• Power Mac Student TSP Requires PowerPC processor, does high resolution graphics. On 3.5" disk.

If you decide to upgrade to "professional" TSP within one year of purchasing Student TSP, you can deduct what you paid for Student TSP (less shipping) from the full price of TSP, and we will send a disk with the professional version, and the Reference Manual (if you didn't already buy it). For example, if you buy Student TSP with GiveWin for $100, you can upgrade to the full version plus a Reference Manual for $400 ($500-$100). If you bought Power Mac Student TSP plus a Reference manual for $100 ($75+$25), you can get the full Power Mac version (without a Reference Manual) for $380 ($480 - $100).
